Summary

A gyre is something that starts from the center of a circle and goes up like a conic. The radius of the circle increases with time intervals. The poet compares the process of history with these wheels and gears. What was at the beginning of civilization was dense and narrow but now it is expanding and losing its sense of centrality. Finally, its disaffiliation with the center is created. He compared the present period of history to a kind of nightmare, bloodshed, chaos, and destruction. The poet has presented the history of three thousand years here. According to him, earlier values and practices of love will return to the world, like the turning of a wheel and a wheel.
