Power of True Love: In this poem, the speaker says that true love is more powerful than anything—more than the sun, time, seasons, kings, or wealth. He feels that nothing in the outside world matters when two lovers are together. He scolds the sun for disturbing them in the morning. For him, their small room becomes the whole world. The lovers feel satisfied with each other, and they do not need anything else. The speaker argues that all the wealth of the world is in their bedroom. He compares his beloved to all the states (countries) and compares himself to all the princes. This theme shows that real love is strong, complete, and more important than everything else in life.
